VENUE INFORMATION:

Lake Alto Park - 17800 NE 134th Pl, Waldo, FL 32694

Reminder: Since this is an out of town regatta, rowers CANNOT drive themselves.

This is a new venue for Gator Head that we have not been to in the past. Please keep that in mind if you are a returning rower/family.

PARKING: There is parking for Team Trailers, food trailers, and coaches at Lake Alto Park. We also have several handicap parking spots available. There will be signs leading Parents and Spectators to an adjacent lot for parking. All parking areas are within easy walking distance to the team trailers and tents. Parking is $5.00 for all vehicles other than boat/food trailers. 


TEAM TENTS: Each team will have an assigned spot for their team tent. Grilling is allowed in designated area. VIEWING: There is viewing near the launch site of the race course. Please stay behind roped off areas. This area is just steps away from our team tents!. There is also viewing from an observation dock at the 3000m mark of the 5K course. Those wishing to view from here may take a shuttle and golf cart to the observation area.

MORNING COFFEE AND BREAKFAST STOP:  There will be coffee and light breakfast items available for purchase from 6:30a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

CAFE GAR Menu:  Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Sweet Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, Beans, Cole Slaw and Drinks.  These items are for purchase. The food at this regatta is going to be very good, our grill master will start smoking the meats at midnight the night before and cookin’ all night!

T-SHIRTS:  There are many choices and something for everyone. We will have long sleeve, short sleeve, tank tops, and many different colors to choose from. All teams’ names registered by standard deadline are listed on the back of the shirts! These shirts have been pre-printed so they will last a long time! Please visit our T-Shirt Tent and find your favorite shirt, credit cards will be taken at this location.

HOSPITALITY will have breakfast, lunch, snacks and water for our rowers. The GAR Cafe will be open beginning at 6:30 a.m.  We encourage parents to support the host team by stopping by for breakfast or lunch.

REPORT TIMES:

Coxswains and 1x rowers: 7:00am
All others: 7:45am

EXPECTED RELEASE TIMES:

4:30 P.M. (subject to change based on final schedule)

Rowers must stay at the regatta for the duration of the event.

This is an OUT OF TOWN regatta.  Rowers are NOT allowed to drive to or from the regatta.

HOSPITALITY:

Light Breakfast, Water, Lunch and Snacks are being prepared for our rowers.  Additional concessions should be available on site.
