Scrimmage at Moss Park (HS/MS/Mast)

On Saturday, November 17, we will welcome Sarasota Scullers for a scrimmage at Moss Park. Here is some important info heading into next weekend:

All SORA members, rowers, volunteers, etc should arrive at 7:00am to begin setup. We hope to be done with all racing by 1:00pm, but we ask all members to stick around for cleanup. This is a fun event however we will need all hands to make sure it is a success.
This is an "all programs" race day including Masters, Middle School and High School. Middle school will not have to register for this regatta as we plan for all rowers to be in attendance, and race at least once. If you have concerns or questions about racing, or will be unable to attend please see your coach.
Though we hope to run it like one, this is not a true "regatta" so it will be a great way for some of our newer rowers to get race experience without some of the pressure.
Course boat volunteers. If you want to get closer to the racing, volunteer for a course boat position and you'll get out on the water. Please indicate if you can drive a small boat when you register. If not, we'll try to pair you with someone who can.
Nobody will be left to figure out what they are doing. Most volunteer positions will have at least one experienced parent that can help train for and accomplish the task at hand.
