2020 Miami International Regatta
Friday, March 27 - Saturday, March 28 2020
We are very excited to participate in the 2020 Miami International Regatta in Miami. This is the second year that SORA will be traveling to Miami to compete in this prestigious regatta.
New this year, we will be traveling by a 57 passenger bus with WiFi, GPS, DVD Player and will include the cost of breakfast, lunch and dinner in Miami.
Rower registration - $225
Included in the registration fee is the following:
- Transportation - Bus
- Lodging - Friday Night
- Meals Included: Friday - Dinner at the hotel. Saturday - Breakfast, lunch and snacks at venue
- Regatta fees
- Boat transportation
Departure: Friday, March 27 - Rowers should be at the park by12:30PM. We will depart by 1:00PM.
Bus will depart from Moss Park

All rowers - are to be dressed in their SORA travel gear, Blue Polo, Black adidas pants
Return: Saturday, March 28
Depart Miami - 4:30pm - After the final race and boats secured
Arrive Lake Nona, 8:00/8:30PM

Meal plan:
SORA will be providing meals on this trip. Breakfast will be at the hotel. Rowers should have money for all non-provided meals as well as any extra snacks.
SORA will be providing dinner on Friday, in addition to a catered lunch and all snacks at the venue on Saturday, Please fill out the attached Google Document for our hospitality team above by Monday, March 16, 2020

Hospitality: Nutritious snacks, water and Gatorade will be served at the hospitality tent.
Lunch: A catered lunch provided by SORA
Dinner We will make a stop on our return to Lake Nona for snacks/dinner

- Cold-weather practice gear - White ONLY Compression Shirt, Black ONLY Spandex and SORA Approved Black Adidas Pants.

- SORA regatta wear for Saturday

- Refillable water bottle
- SMALL backpack for daily regatta gear
Regatta Wear:
Arrival/Regatta: Hi-Vis SORA Shirt, black shorts or pants
Race Wear:
- Unisuits and Hi-Vis SORA Yellow hats
- HI- Vis Yellow hats are REQUIRED in all races.
